All our bonsai are unique. That's why they are referenced by numbers. These numbers do not indicate the age of the tree. If you'd like to know, please contact us. We'll be happy to tell you its approximate age.

We ship bonsai throughout France and neighbouring EU countries.

We take care to pack each bonsai in custom-made wooden crates or reinforced cardboard boxes. The tree is well protected and secured to avoid any risk of breakage.

Depending on the size and weight of your bonsai, shipment is made by specialized carriers: DPD (under 30kg) or GEODIS (over 30kg).

Our priority is to ensure the smooth delivery of your bonsai. That's why we rarely ship on weekends, and never during heatwaves, to prevent your bonsai from being left in transit for too long. We also regularly monitor and check the tracking of your parcels.

The advantages of our bonsai nursery

The bonsai you see in the photo is really the one you'll receive. For dimensions, please refer to the scale on the side. Each product is unique, and we take care to take photos that give you as accurate an idea as possible of what you're about to receive.

All our bonsai are produced in our large nursery in the Lot-Et-Garonne region of France. They are therefore perfectly adapted to the French climate, which is not always the case with Japanese imports.

We have over 1,000 bonsai for sale at the nursery and tens of thousands for cultivation and work. This site is only a small representation of our production, but it's impossible for us to put all our stock online. So if you're passing through, please pay us a visit!

Cultivation Advice

Outdoors all year round, the Japanese Camellia adapts perfectly to a warm climate, but prefers a fairly cool exposure (North and East) and away from draughts. Avoid the hot, rising sun, which can damage its foliage and frozen buds. The ideal location for the Japanese Camellia is semi-shade.

Protect it from heavy frosts in winter (from -3), placing it in a cold greenhouse or unheated, bright room during heavy frosts.

Very important to keep your bonsai alive! Camellias like moist soil, so water them every day in fine weather (spring/summer/autumn), but sparingly in winter. Thanks to the rain and cold, you won't necessarily need to water regularly, as the substrate will remain moist.

Keep an eye on watering in winter, however, as the plant doesn't lose its leaves.

To be more precise, you'll need to water your tree regularly, letting the root ball dry out slightly between waterings to avoid over-watering. Indeed, under- or over-watering is not necessarily good for your bonsai.

In particular, don't hesitate to water right down to the roots, as the water will drain away through the holes in the underside of your pot. Avoid placing a dish or container under your pot, as the water will stagnate and may cause root rot (too much water = asphyxiation).

Its roots grow rapidly. Repot every two or three years, in early spring, just after flowering. Be careful when pruning its roots, as this variety does not tolerate root loss.

Substrate used in our nursery: Potting soil composed of black peat, blond peat, eco-old, topsoil, horse manure, pozzolan..., you can adapt your substrate by making a more draining mix with akadama, pumice, pozzolan...

Remove spent flowers and prune after flowering, if necessary, to give an attractive, balanced shape.

In the nursery, we use NPK 12 12 17 tomato/flower fertilizer. It's the perfect nutrient supplement. Place the fertilizer on the substrate, a handful is usually enough (more or less depending on pot size). Fertilize from spring to autumn (May to October), every 2 months.
