Cryptomeria
Cryptomeria (Cryptomeria japonica), also known as Japanese cedar, is an evergreen conifer appreciated in bonsai for its vigorous growth and ability to branch out densely. Its needles, light green in summer, turn bronze or purple in winter, adding a special aesthetic dimension to the tree.
In bonsai culture, the cryptomeria is often trained in a formal straight style, with a straight trunk and a conical top, true to its natural shape. It is also adapted to styles such as forest or sakei.
It requires full sun and regular watering, taking care not to let the substrate dry out completely. Regular pruning and pinching encourage fine branching and a harmonious silhouette.
All our trees are carefully packed to order and delivered anywhere in France and Europe.
