- Sawara False Cypress (Chamaecyparis pisifera boulevard): Recognisable by its soft, feathery foliage, with bluish-green plumes whose silvery sheen catches the light beautifully, the Sawara offers a light, delicate look, ideal for creating graceful bonsai styles.
- False Japanese cypress (Chamaecyparis nana gracilis): With its dense, scaly, fan-shaped foliage, it is very popular thanks to its original habit and Japanese appearance. This variety provides a more structured, robust appearance, perfect for harmonious, majestic shapes.
