Tamarisk
The Tamaris bonsai is highly valued for its pale pink blooms in April/May, its bright green foliage has a bushy and light appearance with supple and finely drooping branches. The many flowers are small, grouped in clusters, resembling long, loose, drooping spikes.
Very interesting to grow. In France, it usually grows in southern areas. Nevertheless, it can be found on much of the Atlantic coast. In autumn, the foliage turns golden in colour, before disappearing for the winter.
