Kiyohime Maple
The 'Kiyohime' variety is typical of the rounded (also known as broom) shape of Japanese maples. Despite being a dwarf tree, it is very vigorous and densified quickly. In spring it is one of the first to bud break with small reddish-toned leaves, the Kiyohime maple then quickly covers itself with finely cut leaves. In autumn, the foliage turns orange-yellow and it will not go unnoticed in your bonsai collection. It is very frost resistant and is quite easy to grow. It is a very rewarding bonsai for a beginner because it immediately has the appearance of a dwarf tree in its pot. During the winter, you will appreciate its fine branching that we have taken years to form in our nursery by successive pruning throughout the year.
