Azalea

Azaleas are among the most popular flowering bonsai . There are many varieties that are distinguished by the color and shape of the flowers. There are hundreds of them and they bloom from May onwards. It is then a real festival of color, the azalea is then completely covered with flowers. If you keep it out of the rain, you'll be able to enjoy this bloom for longer. It is a slow-growing bonsai, the trunk takes years to thicken. Did you know? The Azalea is also called Satsuki. Its name comes from the 5th (Sa) moon (Tsuki) because they bloom in the fifth month of the Asian lunar calendar.
