Linden
The linden tree is a deciduous bonsai that is not often seen, but it is still interesting for its vigour and rapid growth. It is sometimes even difficult to contain this force, but the advantage is that it creates massive, good-sized trunks. As branching develops through successive pruning, the leaves shrink and the internodes decrease. We sometimes prune 3 to 5 times during the growing season! The small, white, fragrant flowers are quite difficult to obtain in bonsai, but this does not detract from the interest of the lime tree, which remains an emblematic tree of our regions.
