Beech bonsai

The bonsai beech is a deciduous species, emblematic of our countryside and low mountains. Its grey bark, which becomes slightly rough with age, adds an authentic touch to its aesthetic appeal. Its unique marcescent foliage remains attached to the tree even after it dries out in autumn, creating a captivating spectacle until spring's renewal, when the buds grow back and release the dead leaves.

Robust and vigorous, the Beech is distinguished by its rapid growth, although the formation of an imposing trunk requires prior cultivation in the ground, as we do in our nursery. This variety is particularly suited to large bonsai trees, over 50 cm tall, because its leaves, although they can be reduced, are still too large for miniature formats. What's more, beech is ideal for forest compositions, offering a spectacular and harmonious result.

Carefully cultivated in our French nurseries, bonsai beech trees benefit from expert cultivation that respects the traditions of the art of bonsai. We offer shipping throughout France and Europe, so that this majestic species can enrich your collection wherever you are.
