Japanese Black Pine
This is the bonsai pine that you see in all the major Japanese exhibitions. This conifer, also known as Japanese black pine, immediately seduced us with its robustness, vigorous growth and wonderfully cracked bark that produces with age. Their import is strictly prohibited, there are fewer and fewer of them in Europe, and that's why we've been growing them for years. First in the field to form the trunk and branches, then in pots to refine the branching. We have big and small ones, and this is a bonsai that every connoisseur must have in his collection. Its supple wood allows for many shapes and it easily rebuds back to form trays.
