Coniferous bonsai
Many conifers are used to form bonsai, including pine and juniper trees. They are especially appreciated for their evergreen foliage (although some lose their needles) and their bark which often becomes rough over time (especially on pines). Even though they are not the easiest to grow in bonsai, conifers are a category of tree that you must try. To be placed outdoors at all times, they can withstand the lowest temperatures such as the sun without any problems. Their very hard and resistant wood allows you to create dead wood of the Jin or Shari type that will give this impression of age to your bonsai. It is an art in which everything is an illusion, one gives the appearance of having an old and venerable tree thanks to adapted cultivation and maintenance techniques. Their wood is also supple, which allows for more extraordinary shapes than with hardwoods.
